Familymiling is one dad’s outlook on the journey of having a family, as well as the family journeys. From travel tips to saving money to parental musings, I want to find and share ways that can help make parenthood just a little easier.
Hi, I’m Ken. I started this blog because I enjoy sharing and learning new ways to make the most out of my limited parental resources (time, energy, and money). I’m often chatting with friends about our kids, traveling with points and miles, or sharing deals that can help save money, so I figured why not spread the love even further?
As a dad to a toddler/pre-schooler, I’m finding this is a crucial time for my parental operations to run as smoothly as possible. It’s fun and the only thing keeping me sane at the moment. Well…that and trips to Disneyland!
One thing you may notice from time to time, is a random Youtube video sprinkled into a blog post. It likely has nothing to do with the post but it’s there because something I wrote reminded me of it. As a child of the 80s and a teenager of the 90s, I like to get nostalgic and flashback to a time where my main concerns were having stupid fun with friends, grades, acne, and how to talk to girls without falling into the friend zone. And that’s in no particular order.
